Palindromes- Weird ass fucking movie.Palindromes is great, but I agree with Neil... Welcome to the Dollhouse and Happiness are Solondz's best films. Happiness is so disturbing, but I love it. I think I read somewhere that he can't get funding for his latest project?

that was...underwhelming. I don't understand why it did so well at the box office. Kevin Spacey phones it in, Laurence Fishburne is in the movie for what feels like 10 minutes, an awkward and forced 'romance' and a really stupid twist. I'd so much rather watch Ocean's Eleven again if I want to see Vegas get taken for a ride.

Amazing movie. Ledger should be a lock for a posthumous Oscar, because he made the Joker into such an awesome villain. I'm thinking the Penguin might be the villain in the next movie, because there was something about the Iceberg Lounge in the newspaper that Gordon picked up. |

^ I have seen the play before, and now I have seen the movie too. This is a movie I wasn't so crazy about going to see, and so I was surpised with how much I loved it! Yes, it was a really cute movie and the songs got stuck in my head. It's a bit of a chickflick and it's a musical that made me laugh during certain parts of the film. Also, the theatre was packed... yup, had to sit in the front row... it's like you can see up noses and see all those double chins, fun times for sure. haha |

Godzilla vs. Hedorah- This is actually my favorite Godzilla movie because I can gave a crap about the backstory for once and didn't just wait until Gozilla
showed up. Although Hedorah is kinda weak it's pretty good either way. This time I got to see the Japanese version which is 10x better than the dub crap.
Watership Down- A really great animated movie I just regret not reading the book first. |

The Onion Movie
Not good at all. It had a few little funny bits (the idea of the Rape Mystery Party comes to mind  ), but not many, and the ending just made me roll my
eyes.
