* As the Power of Veto winner, Danny has the power to remove either Brooke or Eliza from the block. He calls everyone into the living room and reveals his decision. *
Danny: I really don't understand why this
game is so intense. I've had a hard time sleeping some nights because of how concerned I am about how close A and B are, or whether or not C is actually
telling the truth, or whether I can let myself trust D again. I've spent two hours buzzing around AIM trying to figure out who's telling the truth and
who's lying. I had another person trying to tell me things on the side that really make it even more confusing. I even spent about a minute convinced that
I was going to veto both of the nominees and nominate myself. But, after a long, stressful deliberation with my AIM set on invisible, I figured things out, and
someone won't be happy. This is either the smartest or dumbest move I've made this entire game.
I have decided not to use the Power of Veto.
On Brooke, that is. Eliza, you're safe.
* Danny continues standing, prepared to make a replacement nomination in light of his decision. He continues speaking. *
Danny Now, as
Head of Household, I have to choose someone to nominate in lieu of my vetoed nomination. So, I have decided to nominate...
TODD
I'm sorry I couldn't decide to trust you. There's parts I believe, and parts I just can't. When it all boils down, you've been playing every side. You're one of three people that has been doing so. One of them finally settled down, but I have reason to believe you have something stronger than you're letting on with the other.
Even if you don't, even if you're telling the truth when you say that you'll basically be my personal shield if I keep you, I really don't want that. I don't want to capitalize off of other people being targets, because that's just not something I want to have to deal with later on. I'm not nominating you because of a deal I've made with someone, or because of jury votes, or anything like that. I'm nominating you because you, who I considered my closest ally in the game since the second week, were playing both sides and only told me when I had the power to get you evicted, and even then you didn't tell me until you caught wind of the plan to backdoor you. A plan which I just barely carried out. Sure, people are after me; sure, it could be foolish of me to trust the word of someone who voted me out. But at least I know where they've stood, and have a pretty good idea of where they stand now.
The final nominees:

BROOKE & TODD
Amy: Christian, Courtney, Dominique, Erik, Eliza, Ethan... the choice is now in your hands. You will decide whether Brooke or Todd will become the sixth person evicted from the Big Brother: Surreal Life house, and the first member of our seven member jury. You have 24 hours to e-mail your eviction votes to bbsurreallife@gmail.com. If you do not vote, you will receive a strike. Three strikes and you will be automatically evicted from the game. Danny, as HoH, you will only vote in the event of a tie.
Good luck to Brooke and Todd.
