From what I've gathered, drilling in ANWR would have a negligible effect on our energy costs. It's not a large enough reserve to allow the U.S. to
seriously cut back on their reliance on other nations' oil.
But I read this a while ago, and it's hard to find unbiased information on this subject, so I could be totally wrong. I'm glad the hideously populist wench is out of the race, but we're still left choosing between an economic quasi-socialist and the continuation of Bush's failed interventionist foreign policies.

Yeah, McCain is a terrible speaker. I saw him on Ellen a few weeks ago and she absolutely OWNED him when they discussed gay marraige. If Ellen Degeneres can
out-speak you and makes more valid sense than you, you have no business being our president.

Hillary endorsing Obama is a formality. If she truly meant to endorse Obama, she wouldn't have kept her delegates. She has suspended her campaign, not
whole-heartedly conceded her campaign. There's a different.
Her speech was moving and captivating and really exposed how much she truly wanted the nomination. Obama's speech last Tuesday was the same old stumbling, story-ridden, empty, rhetoric. I'm tired of it and I'm tired of him. McCain's speech that night was trashed for not being visually appealing, but his speech was outstanding. You should read it. He continued to prove to me, why he's the better canidate. This country won't lose under McCain. It can't because he is not going to run Bush's third term. He has continually, for years, distanced himself from Bush. In fact, they were bitter rivals back in 2004 during that election and have since differed on many issues. Obama knows this, but Obama's campaign knows that using buzzwords like "Bush's Third Term" will get through to busy Americans.
