I've ever truly followed a season of survivor (as it aired). I'd see a couple episodes and then miss one and miss the next etc. I ended up downloading China because I really wanted to see it, but when it airs, I never look too forward to it. This time, I can't wait. I caught the end of Micronesia and I am actually really excited about this location.

Here's to survivor not blowing!

The asymmetricality of the snakes in the logo bothers me on some fundamental (and OCD) level. :(

I like the location and I loved the promotion for it. However, not a fan of the gorilla on the logo..it kinda looks fake in comparison to the rest..not sure something about it bothers me. lol

Gabon.

The geography nerd in me loves that they're going to Gabon, haha. It's not another island! The tagline is cheesy, but like Vanuatu and Guatemala, it'll be dropped in casual conversation so I'm not going to get huffy about it.

I personally don't think it'll be too much like S3 (Kenya). They're two totally different countries who just so happen to be on the same continent. I reserve the right to change my mind on my excitement when the season actually comes, but for now, I'm cautiously optimistic.

The location is great, the tag line is cheesy, and the promo was also a bit cheesy. It also bothers me that the logo looks like it was fan made. HAH. and that they used the font Papryus which might be one of the cheesiest fonts ever. oh well. CHEESE CHEESE CHEESE>

but i love the location and so far there is no reason why the season shouldnt be great.

I personally love the tagline, "Earth's Last Eden".

I'm really looking forward to this. It looks like it's going to be AMAZING!

The first logo in this thread looks like shit. It looks like something someone would make for a game, especially that gorilla on the top.

The second one's a lot better though.

I'd really go out on a limb and think that the 'Eden' bit has some symbolic effect on the game, but knowing Survivor, it was probably pulled out of an exec's ass at the last minute.
